The superior:
I got this in the mail right now and I have to say it looks far better in individual the white and gold appear incredibly sleek (five stars for it is looks). I study some fine reviews about this helicopter over the internet and decided it would be a nice upgrade from my two channel propel mini rc heli which performs well and has gone two years and hundreds upon hundreds of crashes without breaking when. But adequate about my old heli, the 107g is a wonderful mini helicopter it really is 3.five channel control enables the pilot to manage lift, left and ideal turning, and forward / reverse which is great! five stars for getting an inexpensive three.5 channel heli. The Poor:
In all honesty, this heli performs specifically as it should. My only complaint is that the heli isn't highly quick out of the box. Mods:
1.) Immediately after reading about purchasing aftermarket rotor blades, spinning the rotor upside down, etc etc, I decided to simply get rid of a handful of pieces of the helicopter. I removed the two bars and the piece connecting them to the tail bar, along with the tail fin (not to be confused with the rotor). This does a couple of items: 1) lowers weight of the helicopter two) increases power (due to weight loss) 3) increases battery life (due to weight loss) 4) makes the heli considerably more rapidly and far more responsive. Please note that the heli will be significantly more quickly than ahead of, but it will be slightly less stable due to the lowered weight and increased speeds. 2.) If your a speed freak and want the fastest s107g out there then you can also get rid of the landing bars.
