The blades are very quick to replace. The price of replacement parts is a bit high, thinking of the expense of the full helicopter package. I broke eight lower blades and 1 upper blade in two months. You get two upper blades and two lower blades in a package for around $3 USD + SH. So it would be great if they sold either a set of 4 upper or four lower blades in a package, but they do not.
The item is very good but however the helicopter toy does not operate effectively, namely, does not fly. It is fairly a pity for me.
